Mark Lee |
A native of
Pensacola, Realtor Mark Lee has
lived much of his life on Pensacola
Beach, although these days he can
often be spotted jogging around Gulf
Breeze, which he now calls home. He
lives with four dogs: Godfrey, a
dachshund who spends hours swimming
in the bay behind his house;
Precious, a pug; Gracie, a
long-haired dachshund; and Cody, a
Labrador. He cites his mother as the
most important woman in his life.
“My mother
taught me that the manners of a
Southern gentleman never go out of
style. For example, when out for a
stroll with a lady, a gentleman
always walks nearest the street. And
any guest in your home should always
be properly accommodated.
Also from her,
I learned a faithful spirit and a
generous heart are far more valuable
than any material purchase. Living a
life of service is more rewarding
than a life of serving yourself.”
“Never take
life (or yourself) too seriously. A
sense of humor and a shout of
laughter are good for the moment and
good for the soul.”
“I can be a
better friend and professional by
listening more and talking less.”
“A woman’s
intuition is not to be taken
lightly, nor is her willingness to
ask for directions.”
“My longtime friend and business
partner, Cherry Fitch, has tried to
convince me that buying a new pair
of shoes can take the gray out of
any day.” |
