Minimal hemlines, poofy shirts, and graphic florals dominated at Fashion Week

Drop those dumbbells, and sprint to the nearest Stair-Master.

Come spring 2007, you can hide your upper body under billowy tops, but you’ll need toned legs to sport the latest look: hiked-up hemlines.

Bella reporter Sloane Stephens Cox and photographer Ben Twingley crashed Fashion Week in New York City to bring you the latest fashions.

Short shifts dominated the runways last month. Most frocks seemed to be more flowing and fanciful than in past seasons, but they’re still being paired with skinny pants or leggings — an indication that layering and some of the other trends from earlier this year aren’t destined for the donation bin just yet.
